PVC-O Pipes Plant

Quality Assurance and Standards

  • PVC-O pipes are manufactured in accordance with IS 16647 – 2017 Oriented Unplasticised Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC-O) Pipes, suitable for water supply.

  • CCAL’s pipes meet other international standards applicable to PVC-O, as follows:

    • ISO 16422:2014 standards for Pipes and Joints made of Oriented Unplasticised Poly(Vinyl Chloride) (PVC-O) for the conveyance of water under pressure

    • ASTM F 1483-05 Standard Specifications for Oriented Poly(Vinyl Chloride), PVC-O, Pressure Pipes

    • ANSI/AWWA C909-02 for Molecularly Oriented Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC-O) Pressure Pipes for Water Distribution

    • AS/NZS 4441:2008 for Oriented PVC (PVC-O) pipes used in high-pressure applications

    • SANS 16422:2007 for pipes and joints made of Oriented Unplasticised Poly(Vinyl) Chloride (PVC-O) for the conveyance of water under pressure

    • UNE-ISO 16422 standard

    • CSA B137,3,1-09 for Molecularly Oriented Poly Vinyl Choride (PVC-O) pipe for pressure applications

    • NF T54-948:2010 for pipes and joints made of Biaxially Oriented Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC-BO)
