Oriented Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC-O) Pipe with homogenous Spigot is a new-generation polymer product used in pumping mains for high pressure water conveyence. This pipe has entered the Indian market very recently.
These pipes have been designed for application in high-pressure water conveying. PVC-O is, in essence, plastic with the properties of metal. Its properties compares very well with metal pipes, and PVC-O offers a host of advantages over metal as well.
CCAL, at the forefront of technological innovation in India, is setting up a facility to manufacture top-quality PVC-O pipes.
The facility is a zero discharge plant, with absolutely no waste generated during the manufacturing process. This fits in with CCAL’s culture of sustainability and care for the environment. This new PVC-O plant is established at Sri City, TADA. Sri City is an integrated business township located 55 km north of Chennai on NH 16 in Nellore district, state of Andhra Pradesh. Currently, one line of the plant is operational. Eventually expandable to six lines, this first line produces 3,000 MTA of PVC-O.
CCAL’s new plant at Sri City, Tada (Andhra Pradesh) manufactures superior quality PVC-O pipes in a sustainable and eco-friendly process.
PVC-O pipes are manufactured in accordance with IS 16647 – 2017
